The Azimio coalition kingpin Raila Odinga on Thursday, March 9, outlined advanced countrywide mass action in order to fight for economic freedom for all Kenyans.
Raila Odinga’s Two-weeks ultimatum directive to the Kenya Kwanza regime elapsed without bearing developmental fruits. Thus, making new demanding methodologies.
“We as Azimio la Umoja-Kenya coalition now officially declare the starting of mass action countrywide for a better Kenya,” Raila Odinga said in Nairobi.
During the launching of the Movement for Defence of Democracy (MDD), Raila submitted that President William Ruto has typically failed to lower the price of basic products, open the IEBC servers, and engage the Azimio coalition in the recruitment process of IEBC commissioners.
Dressed in combat regalia, the ODM party kingpin clarified to those interested in the mass action to prepare for the showcase in all Kenyan counties and take action against the Kenya Kwanza administration.
“We have a strong green light political signal dated March 20, 2023, and we call all of our esteemed diehard supporters to come to Nairobi where we will carry out an extensive parade,” the Azimio boss stated.

Among the outlined key reasons for calling for countrywide mass action against Ruto’s regime include; the high cost of living in Kenya, Double Taxation, the Importation of GMOs, the Recruitment of IEBC commissioners, the victimization of Cherera Four Commissioners, the Supreme Court Ruling.

Azimio’s co-principals claimed that the Kenya Kwanza regime is playing with Kenyan citizens’ minds with a lot of hot air promises that can no longer be tolerated.
In a statement, Martha Karua said that the prices for all basic products must go down as our coalition earlier demanded.
