Qualities of a Man or Woman that God uses, how many do you possess/

Men and women, God uses his people to speak encourage and motivate. For instance, what did God see in David that made God use him so greatly? Ask yourself that.

Let’s take a look at the qualities that you might have yet you don’t know or no idea has ever come across your mind that God can use you as his special child that he made you.

Heart For God

David was a man after God’s own Heart. (1 Samuel 13:14, Psalm 40:8, Psalm 15:1-2, Psalm 139:23-24, Psalm 119:27, Psalm 63:1-4,)

Do you have spiritual disciplines that are actively developing a heart for God?

Dependent on God

David was dependent on God. (Psalm 61:1-4, 1 Samuel 30:7-9)

Are You dependent upon God and being led by the spirit or are you leaning to your own understanding?

Faithful and Prepared

David was Faithful and Prepared. (1 Samuel 16:11,17-18, 1 Samuel 17:34-36)

Are you preparing yourself for God’s next assignment for you by being faithful to what he’s already called you to do?

Accountability and Teachability

David was Accountable and Teachable.  Samuel (1 Samuel 19:18), Jonathan (1 Samuel 18:3), Abigail ( 1 Samuel 25:24-33), Nathan ( 2 Samuel 12:7)

Who are the people in your life with whom you are fully accountable?

Remorse and Repentance

David was remorseful and repentant (Psalm 51:2-4, 10, 1 Kings 1:1-4)

God is looking for people who either don’t sin or know how to repent when they do.

Are you truly repenting from sin or just confessing it?

Character Above Reproach

David had character (1 Samuel 24:3-6, 1 Samuel 20:14-16, 2 Samuel 9:1)

Humble and God-Glorifying

David was Humble and willing to give God the glory for anything and everything that he did in his life. (2 Samuel 7:1-6, 12-13, 1 Chronicles 22:7-8)
