Kenya Airways recently confirmed flying to the USA (United States of America) on a daily basis following the high demand for air travel for the summer season.
The national transport has been flying five times a week to America since January due to low demand for flights but recently the demand has increased because of the summer season.
“Starting today (June 19th, 2023), fly daily to New York from Nairobi and experience this amazing city. Dive into the city’s rich history and culture by visiting the Metropolitan Museum, or indulge in world-class dining, shopping, and entertainment,” KQ said on its Twitter handle.

Kenya Airways began offering direct flights to New York from 2018 to narrow the connecting flights between John F. Kennedy International (JFK) Airport in New York and Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi.
KQ stationed a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, one of the fastest commercial aircraft with more seats, more range, cargo capability and with a capacity of 234 passengers.
The flight duration between Nairobi and New York is 15 hours eastbound and 14 hours westbound.
