American actor Tyler James Williams has responded to claims made about his sexual orientation, saying the allegations may be dangerous.
The 30-year-old ‘Abbott Elementary’ star addressed the sexual orientation speculations in a series of Instagram Stories, cautioning against the risks of making assumptions about people’s sexual orientation and stating that the “conversation is bigger than me.” The actor has previously received allegations online claiming that he is gay and closeted.

The actor, however, made it clear that he is not gay and there is a need for people to stop making assumptions about his sexuality based on his behavior. As Pride Month begins, Tyler has set a precedent for an important conversation relating to queer people stating;
Overanalyzing someones behavior in an attempt to ‘catch’ them directly contributes to the anxiety a lot of queer and queer questioning people feel when they fear living in their truth. It makes the most pedestrian of conversations and interactions in spaces feel less safe for our gay brothers and sisters and those who may be questioning.
The actor made it known that the behavior of people online constantly trying to figure out their sexuality promotes the stereotypes that males must contend with, many of which are incorrect, and restricting.

The ‘Everybody Hates Chris’ actor also said that he was an ally and trying to break down the archetypes portrayed onto feminine men.
His fans supported his sentiments telling people to ‘leave him alone’.
