Famous Travel vlogger and content creator Miss Trudy gained traction on Twitter following the events that took place in Moi International Airport when she was traveling back to Nairobi.
The content creator was seen taking a video on the airport premises and a KCAA official came and allegedly asked her to stop filming. This was when all hell broke loose and she started ranting about content creators’ rights.
“Guys, we’re being harassed at the airport, these guys actually want to arrest us because we are filming, No, this is getting out of control, this is too much. In fact, they went and brought the police to arrest me because I’m creating content. This is Kenya! I’m just creating content. I’m leaving Mombasa, I’m going back to Nairobi, someone stops me at the entrance, starts harassing me telling me to stop creating content! I’m just tired!” Miss Trudy said.
The KCAA official so the situation escalates and brought a female police officer who tried to cool down the situation and try to explain to Miss Trudy and her friends their wrongdoings.

When she posted the video on Twitter majority of the netizens did not support her. Many blamed her for being entitled and told her that there are rules that must be followed when put in place.
The Kenya Civil Aviation security regulation prohibits travelers to film without granted permission. And if one refuses to comply they will be liable to pay a fine not exceeding one million shillings or imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year. They can also get both punishments.
Some netizens pointed out that the KCAA official allegedly did not tell her to stop filming but to move aside from the entrance as she was blocking people from moving in and out. She later then asked “saa tunablock nini hapa”
Many netizens think that she is entitled and is just looking for fame.
