The father to the late Sharon Njeri Albert Mwangi was forced to remember the pain of losing his child after a video circulated online showing the late Sharon Njeri consuming poison which led to her demise.
Albert Mwangi was annoyed that DJ Brownskin record someone he loved committing suicide without intervening and just recording the events as they took place.
Albert Mwangi remembers his daughter the late Sharon Njeri as a jovial girl and they would speak about everything and anything. The late Sharon Njeri would check up on her father every time she could.

“I work as a driver for a tour company and we often spoke on phone. Sharon was Daddy’s little girl. We spoke about everything and she would update me on her whereabouts. While on a work assignment, I came across a nice kikoi and took a photo, and sent it to her. She said it was not her favorite colour but I still went ahead and bought it but it never got to her,” Albert Mwangi told Standard Entertainment.
On the day that Sharon Mwangi passed away, Albert Mwangi got a call from DJ Brownskin who claimed that he had taken the children to school and when he came back he already found Sharon Njeri had already consumed drugs.
Albert Mwangi was pained to see the video that surfaced online where he saw his daughter’s last moments. He was pained as he saw that his daughter was consuming poison DJ Brownskin just watched as he was recording without intervening.
What was worse is that the children saw what happened to their late mother.
“DJ Brownskin told me that he had taken the children to school and when he came back he found Sharon had taken some drugs. The video I saw shows something totally different because I assume he was the one recording as my daughter fought for her life He lied to me and since the video surfaced we have not talked. He (Brownskin) knows he lied to me.” Albert Mwangi told Standard Entertainment.
Currently, Albert Mwangi is taking care of his grandchildren as he cannot trust DJ Brownskin after what he saw in the video. Albert Mwangi does not believe that DJ Brownskin loved his late daughter because he believes if a person loves someone they cannot watch them die.
“If you love someone you cannot do that…and especially not when the kids are there. How do you watch as the mother of your children dies? He probably pretended to love her…let him live with the guilt. I do not think I can trust him with my grandkids…I will take care of them for now. We can meet and talk and he can still provide for them if he wishes to but I will not let him have the children,” Albert Mwangi said.
