Young people have this unnecessary pressure to figure everything out in their 20s leaving themselves no time to have fun and explore.

We are scared about how our relationships are not working, or the fact that most of the guys you cleared high school with are already married with one kid, yet here you are, at home, with no job, broke beyond recognition (you have such a huge Okoa Jahazi, it’s almost terrifying) and busy sulking just because James forgot your birthday. The thing is though, you do not have to have it all in your 20s. There is no pressure to get a well-paying job (not that you should decline it if it comes along), you do not have to worry about being in a relationship let alone breaking up, and neither should you be in such a rush to be so independent and move out of home just so you can prove how much of a big boy you have become.
Even when all these things are vital for the future, there should not be any pressure to get them all now. Good things come to those who wait and work toward them. Think of every day as a milestone in getting to where you want to be in the future.
