In Murang’a, the business of selling semen to women has skyrocketed, with women willing to pay over Ksh 300,000 to be impregnated.
Women on the lookout to buy semen are angling towards men between the ages of 20 and 40. Inclusive of this, most women have selected men who are considerably smarter, according to the analysis of the women.
Other factors most women have been looking for are, tall and light skin men. The light-skinned men, however, cannot be too light but also not too dark for them. They are subject to the woman’s opinion.
Most of the women who are buying the semen are the new generation of independent women. These women agree with the saying that, “Women don’t need a man to feel complete.” It has been a trend going around on the struggles that exist in marriages, with most men being unfaithful to their wives and the constant arguments within. This has caused a difference in marriages altogether.
“We are looking for sperm so that we give birth and continue working. We also want to be lucky enough for our children to be beautiful and brilliant in the classrooms.”

In addition to those requirements, the men need to have been tested for harmful diseases. These diseases could be generational illnesses or those attained through life such as diabetes, high blood pressure, HIV/Aids, and even alcohol addiction. If they are HIV positive, then they have to take medication to prevent the transmission of the virus during sexual intercourse.

Contractual Pregnancies
A woman, disclosed by Taifa Leo, is raising 3-month-old twins through the process of paying for a man to impregnate her. The lady is 38 years old and she paid a 23-year-old man to complete her mission. The man is a medical student at the University of Nairobi. She paid him Ksh 300,000.
“Once he heard that I gave birth to twins, he started asking for an additional Ksh 300,000. I told him that he was not selling babies, but rather a possibility of impregnating me without caring whether I’d birth one child or even fifty.”

For the transaction to be complete, the two parties have to sign a contract stating that his duty is just to impregnate and not child caring. The male would lose all association with the the female immediately she is declared pregnant.
“What’s surprising is that women don’t understand that the brilliance of a child in a classroom is largely dependent on the woman’s brain than it does the male’s.”
