The statement from the palace did not give any specific reasons as to why Meghan will not be joining her husband at the coronation. However, it is widely speculated that this decision may have been made due to Meghan’s recent fallout with the Royal Family.

It is uncertain whether Prince Harry will participate in other events related to the coronation during the extended weekend, such as the concerts attended by the Royal Family.

Given that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are no longer working members of the Royal Family, it is assumed that they will not have any official responsibilities at the coronation.

The news of Prince Harry’s attendance at the coronation has been received positively by many, who see it as a sign that the rift between him and the rest of the family may be healing.

However, some commentators have questioned whether his appearance at the event will be overshadowed by the media attention it is likely to generate.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been residing in the United States since their retirement as senior royals in early 2020. Following their departure from the UK, both the Sussexes and the Royal Family issued a series of public comments emphasizing the difficulties between them.

Both the spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Buckingham Palace have refrained from commenting on the matter. Nevertheless, social media users have expressed divided opinions on Meghan’s absence from the coronation, with supporters commending her for standing up for herself, while detractors have criticized her for “snubbing” her royal relatives.

Despite this, Prince Harry has maintained his ties with the Royal Family and has made multiple trips to the UK since moving to the United States. His attendance during King Charles III’s coronation is intended to be viewed as a crucial moment of reconciliation between him and the rest of the family.
