Relationships are amazing to be in. they motivate you, and they challenge you to be better and grow- that is if you have the right partner. Sometimes though, it just doesn’t work out and you two are forced to break up because you just can’t stomach the nonsense. Then you are back to being single and ready to mingle, and your sweetheart (well former) does not waste any time.

Truth be told, there are no rules for breaking up or when to move on after. It does not come with an instruction manual. Although sometimes we wish it did. You will have broken up and within no time, you have your eyes on someone new. Of course, there is the whole concept of giving yourself time to heal and whatnot, but that does not always happen. Many people get back in the game quicker than you can say hocus pocus.

However, it is important to take that time to do some self-cleansing if you will. Take time to lick your break-up wounds, maybe over ice cream, and then you can think about dating again. Get out there and do something nice for yourself and stop wallowing in misery. There is no perfect time for you to move on to a new relationship except when you are ready. It should not be based on peer pressure or the need to be in a relationship to be fulfilled.

There is no hurry with it. Relationships will come and go. Take your time to find the right one. Because again, if you are looking for Mr. Perfect, sorry Jenny, he does not exist, well except in Disney of course.
