Ciku Muiruri said Charlene is educating the children on the importance of mitigating climate change and also spearheading tree planting and its unfair for her hard work to be rewarded by a nickname.
Netizens speculated that she only started doing good deeds after her father President William Ruto was elected to be the President of Kenya.
Charlene Ruto was named Quickmat Ivanka in comparison to the former United States President Donald Trump’s Daughter Ivanka.
This is because when Donald Trump was the president of the united states his daughter Ivanka was highly involved in government affairs and she used to attend official government meetings.
Ivanka was then given a government position as the director of the Office of Economic Initiatives and Entrepreneurship.
According to Tuko, the Quickmat store is opening many stores around the country symbolizing Charlene Ruto Travel around the country hence the name Quickmat Ivanka.
Many believe that she is trying to get a government role as Ivanka did.
Just like Ciku Muiruri, some netizens took Charlene’s side, arguing that she has been doing this for a long time, as it only came to light at the moment because she is the president’s daughter.
Some people are angry that she is allegedly using the hard-earned tax of Kenyan citizens to finance her travel around Kenya.
