The fourth president of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta was captured in a photograph walking leisurely in the streets of Narok.
Former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko posted a tweet showing the president in a more casual setting without his presidential entourage around him.
In his post, he wished the former president a long life for having ruled Kenya for ten years. However, some found it unsettling to see Kenyatta without much protection, having been an honourable and important person in society.
Others were pleased with the action and commended the former president on his humility with some seeing it as a good way to spend his time after retiring.

Some thought that he was counting his losses after retiring and that he had fallen as a political leader, while others disagreed with this statement and believe his retirement as President of Kenya would not affect his status.
Uhuru, in his ten-year tenure in the presidency, achieved much despite having fallen short of achieving the Big Four Agenda.
He oversaw the development of the transport system in Kenya and encouraged gender equality by appointing women to leadership positions.
Uhuru also managed to make significant changes to the education system from 8-4-4 to a competency-based curriculum which is believed to be better for students apart from that he also ensured the Republic of Kenya is reformed digitally with digital enhancements so the country can do business easier.
With all the development he has done for the country many are of the view that he has done a good job and deserves a good rest while in retirement
