If you enjoy drama and entertainment from reality shows, you should check out the Real Housewives franchise in its entirety. Nairobi has its version called Real Housewives of Nairobi, which is available on Showmax.
Season one had me laughing on my own in the middle of the night with Sonal, one of the season one cast members’ popular line, ‘Vera Mimi ni Punda’. The season brought drama, shade and entertainment from all the women.
If Real Housewives of Nairobi was a favourite for you here are some Real Housewives franchises to binge-watch over the weekend.
Real Housewives of Atlanta
This franchise gained popularity from the beginning and features fan favourite Nene Leakes, who will keep you entertained for the 9 seasons she is on the show. My most memorable line from her is “this ain’t Phaedra.” Don’t get me started on Phaedra Parks dragging Kenya during one of the reunions. This is a must-watch.
Real Housewives of Potomac
This franchise has a mix of love and hate for me. The cast includes a beautiful set of women with my favorites being Dr. Wendy, Karen, and Candiace. You’ll understand my dislike for the “green-eyed bandits” when you watch the show. As my go-to Real Housewives, I feel that a shake-up in the cast is necessary.
Real Housewives of Dubai
The release of the second season of this franchise makes it a must-watch. Ayaan is a favourite for many of us who have watched it. This show finally displays the wealth that is expected in all the franchises. I can’t wait to see all the luxurious things the cast is involved in during the new season.
Real Housewives of Durban
With four episodes out, this has become a franchise that I didn’t expect to enjoy this much. At the start of the show, Ayanda was my favourite cast member, and it was disappointing not to see her in other seasons. In every way, this is one Real Housewives series you should watch.
