American RnB trio, Boyz II Men, is expected to perform in Kenya on June 10 this year.
The highly anticipated event is expected to go down at Uhuru Gardens this Saturday.
Kenyans have expressed their anticipation for the event, saying that they are longing to be taken back in time. The event has already been referred to as the biggest concert in Kenya in 2023.

The event, sponsored by Stanbic Bank and Radio Africa Group, is dubbed ‘Stanbic Yetu Festival’ and is happening for the second time since it started. The sponsors say that the event was started during the COVID-19 pandemic to bring Kenyans together virtually. After a successful show last year with award-winning singer Anthony Hamilton, a second edition of the festival was planned for this year.
The trio is expected to arrive in Kenya on Thursday for the Saturday concert. They are expected to make performances in different African countries this year including South Africa and Uganda. They will perform at Kololo Grounds in Uganda on June 11.

The group is known for its soulful music, releasing hit tracks like ‘End of the Road’ and ‘I’ll Make Love to You’. They are recognized for being the most commercially successful rnb group of all time. The group has been together for more than 20 years, winning four Grammy Awards, nine American Music Awards, and nine Soul Train awards among other accolades.

Spotify has reported a skyrocket in the group’s Spotify streams ahead of their concert this weekend. Kenyans and musicians have expressed their excitement heading into the performance. Boy band Sauti Sol is one of the acts expected to headline the show, the first time performing in Kenya since they announced their break from group projects.
