A video showing a groom on the phone in the midst of his wedding event has angered netizens.
The video posted on Twitter by Twitter user @Mahuntsu, captioned ‘My body is here with you, but my mind is outside of town’ has garnered more than 30 million views.
The video shows the couple walking out of the church, as the bride smiles at the guests and the groom scrolls through his phone.

Netizens who interacted with the tweet could not hide their anger and frustration towards the groom as they sympathized with the bride. They felt that the groom had missed the moment, and would never be able to get it back.

While most people were angered by the groom, others who watched the video also said that the internet should not make a judgment off a 50-second video. They justified the groom’s behavior by saying that he could be answering an important message.
Others said they didn’t see an issue with the video because the bride was also not bothered by the behavior.
