Elid Wekesa AKA “Yesu wa Tongaren”, said he will not be crucified twice for mankind a second time responding to alleged plans to crucify him.
The head of the New Jerusalem group, who claims to be Jesus Christ and refers to himself as such, stated that Jesus was crucified just once in the Bible and hence cannot be crucified a second time.

Wekesa insisted that he has returned for the second time to help those who believe in Jesus and not to die for their sins once more.
“Jesus was crucified only once, and since I have come for the second time, it is written that I come to save those who await me, not to die for their sins a second time,” Wekesa said at his home in Lukokhwe village.
As Easter approached, the self-proclaimed messiah became an internet celebrity, with some netizens suggesting that he follow in the footsteps of the Biblical Jesus Christ and be executed during Easter.

The self-proclaimed messiah also questioned the schedule of Easter celebrations, declaring that they should begin on July 28 and last until July 30.
His statements come at a time when Christians around the world are celebrating Easter, which begins on April 7 and runs through Monday, April 10.
