Twitter Owner Elon Musk’s decision to monetize the blue checkmark has seen Jesus Christ get verified, oh, and he has over 800k followers.
Since freeing the bird in October, Elon Musk has been sparking conversation on a regular, with controversial decisions such as laying off Twitter employees and the $8 blue checkmark.
In the latest turn of events, the Twitter Blue Subscription has seen fake accounts of LA Lakers Star Lebron James and the gaming character ‘Super Mario’ emerge.
Elon Musk has since cautioned that unless any account trying to impersonate someone declares that it is a parody, then it would be disabled.

However, the account named Jesus Christ responded to Elon Musk’s tweet announcing that it is a parody account.
As this unfolded, it unleashed some hilarious reactions on Twitter. Fictional Detective, Sherlock Holmes tweeted,
Twitter’s Support Account has noted that they have not put the ‘Official’ label on the accounts but are aggressively going after ‘impersonation and deception.’
