On 17th of August, 2023, Scania East Africa delivered 35 units to Coca-Cola Beverages Africa – Kenya in their head offices in Syokimau. The event was graced by both official teams from both companies together with the drivers.

Speaking during the event, Scania East Africa’s outgoing Managing Director, Lars Eklund highlighted how both companies are on the path of driving the shift towards a sustainable transport system, for a sustainable future by reducing CO2 emissions, fuel consumption, and operational costs.
“We have setup this partnership in the right way, and we look forward to continuing to work together in decarbonizing the transport sector,” Lars shared.
Kelvin Chege the Logistics Director for Coca-Cola Beverages Africa – Kenya also added that the partnership between them and Scania was brought about by how both of them share same values in terms of customer first, safety, and sustainability.
