Language: Manifestation is Draining and Depressing Gen Z

Languages. There are over 7117 languages in the world that one would use to communicate their desire. The French language that many sort for being romantic, the Luo language many sort for being sweet and enthusiastic, and the Mexican language for its musical vibe.

The language of manifestation is a new one. The language of manifesting is a way of speaking and thinking that is designed to attract your desired outcomes. It is based on the belief that the words we use have the power to create our reality.

Fact as any Kenyans would understand, on the ground things are different. ‘Money-fest-station’ Three a manifestation represent, the desire of having money, the desire for lavish posh or luxury, and the desire to travel far and beyond. Does it mention work? Gen Z disagrees.

How the language of manifestation is used:

Use positive and present tense language. This will help you to focus on your goal and to believe that it is already a reality.

Avoid using negations. Saying “I don’t want to be afraid” actually reinforces the fear. Instead, say “I am confident and courageous.”

Use specific and detailed language. The more specific you are about what you want, the more likely you are to attract it. For example, instead of saying “I want to be rich,” say “I want to have a net worth of $1 million.”

Feel the emotions of having already achieved your goal. When you speak about your goal, try to feel the emotions that you would feel if you had already achieved it. This will help to create a stronger connection between your thoughts and your reality.

It’s good and true to be positive, but have we thought of the extreme where manifestation is plenty with little or no work or results?

Here are some of the reasons why manifestation without result or work can be depressing and draining:

It can lead to feelings of helplessness and hopelessness; which come out, if you are constantly trying to manifest something, but you are not seeing results, it can start to feel like you are never going to achieve your goals.

It can lead to feelings of anxiety and stress.

It can lead to feelings of disappointment and frustration. When you are not seeing results from your manifestation efforts, it can be easy to feel disappointed and frustrated.

It easily drives one to a comparison of how others are making it so quickly.

Lastly, it’s a motivation of easy, cheap, and maybe very dangerous way, immoral or inhumane shortcuts for the idea of living in lavish.

Someone please tell Gen Z, It is also important to remember that manifestation is not the only way to achieve your goals. There are many other things you can do to reach your desired outcomes, such as hard work, dedication, and perseverance.
