Azimio claims that hospitals have been instructed not to disclose the actual number of deaths and casualties of police brutality or even admit the victims. The coalition further blamed the government saying that the state hired armed militia to deal with protestors. The statement also says that the victims in hospitals were severely brutalized highlighting that some of them were shot at close range, aiming at vital organs.

The opposition coalition also says that on Wednesday, it will begin to roll out a process meant to reach out to victims of police brutality as they await the Hague to intervene and seek justice.

We ask Kenyans to pray also that the International Criminal Court takes up the matter based on an expanded list of perpetrators that we intend to furnish to the court in due course.
