Teen preacher, Reverend Victor, is making headlines again after a video of him during a Bible study session went viral.
In the video, Victor is seen asking his mum to get him some water and the mother quickly responds and goes to get him some water as he continues to share the Word.
He is heard asking;
“Could you get me some water tafadhali?”

And his mum responds, “Yes” and goes to get him water to drink.
Netizens had mixed reactions with the video with most saying that he was being disrespectful to his mum. Others were of the opinion that he did ask politely and that was a normal parent-child relationship.
He then later responded to the backlash that he has been getting by saying,
“To be completely honest, we all need to understand the concept of the whole video when I sent my mom to go get me water. I was not feeling well, my throat was a bit scratchy and I couldn’t move because my hand is hurting but I still have to do whatever I felt like doing — preaching. In fact, I used the word ‘please’ in Swahili, thank you.”
Kenyan YouTuber based in the US, Wairimu Kimani, shared that there was nothing wrong with what Victor had done and that it is normal for someone who speaks for a long time to need water. She also mentioned that his mother has been supporting her son and that she understands his call in life.
