Chelsea Plans Biggest Squad Clear- Out in Club’s History

Mauricio Pochettino’s first season at Chelsea is set to undergo a major clear out.


Pochettino was appointed last month on a two – year deal with an extension option.

It appears he has a busy transfer window according to reports. The west London side are planning to cut ties with 12 players.

According to the Daily Mail, the club is trying to balance the books by off loading some players who have 12 months remaining other deal. By doing so,Chelsea will avoid free transfers next summer

Mateo Kovacic who has had positive talks with treble winners Manchester City, is set to be at the Etihad next season.

N’Golo Kante is on the verge of moving to Saudi Arabia while Mason Mount is wanted by Manchester United

Loftus-Cheek, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Nathan Baxter and Ian Maatsen add onto the the list .

As for Lukaku who has expressed his desire on staying at Inter Milan, the Club has indicated that they are happy to work with him next season.
