China has stepped up measures to shore up the telecommunication sector for the benefit of its people in the network upgrade.
The Chinese 5G base stations are mounted on rooftops, utility poles, and streetlights. The country built and put into operation more than 2.3 million of them.
Ministry of Industry Information and Technology said at a conference, in Beijing that the country’s Digital transformation will continue this year.
In a statement, the Ministry clarified that China plans to build and upgrade telecommunications infrastructure for both mobile and fixed 5G services, and will also increase the deployment of Public and Private 5G networks.

Additionally, the country aims to boost broadband internet access in under served communities and scale up research and development efforts for 6G networks.
