“Sky Girls is a teen empowerment movement, we work with teenage girls between the ages of 12 and 19, empowering them with the confidence and the refusal techniques to be able to resist negative peer pressure, whether that’s pressure to smoke or relationship pressure, for example, Pressure to go through a sexual relationship if you are not sure,” Svetlana noted.

“Also we target schools to reach more girls, ensuring every Kenyan girl is empowered, so we visit both Primary and Secondary schools, where we can meet girls from all walks of life, and cover everyone, ” the Sky Girls Director noted.
