Renowned political analyst, Mutahi Ngunyi, has claimed President Ruto will ditch Deputy President Gachagua and pick Mudavadi as his Deputy in the 2027 Election.
According to Ngunyi, the Kikuyu community will be pushed out and it will take a revolutionary moment for them to regain political relevance.
His sentiments brought an uproar among citizens online as others concurred with him while others disagreed with him.
Controversial political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has opined that President William Ruto may pick Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi as his running mate in the 2027 presidential election.
The analyst ignited reactions after suggesting the head of state may opt to drop his current deputy Rigathi Gachagua for another candidate in the next electioneering period.
Many of those who agreed that Ruto might replace Gachagua said it was because of his recent speeches, which show the deputy president is in campaign mode.
Analysts argued that going by the leaders he installed for leadership positions in the Senate and National Assembly, the head of state is seemingly planning how to ensure he is still popular with Kenyans at the grassroots.
