According to psychologists, the average person consumes about 961 hours and 10 minutes of music per year. That very person listens to 1.3 million songs in their lifetime. Mind-blowing, isn’t it?
Even though most people consume music as a form of relaxation and unwinding, the kind of music a person listens to says a lot about his/her personality.

That is pretty ironic.
- Rap/hip hop
Fans of this kind of music are associated with violence and aggression but this could not be further from the truth. Hip-hop lovers just tend to be more outgoing than the rest.

If you listen to pop music, you are most likely a hard-working, extroverted person with high self-esteem.
Most times, you exude nervousness, but really, who doesn’t get nervous? Pop music enthusiasts have a down-to-earth vibe! To think this genre is associated with femininity is nonsense.

These fans are typically identified as hardworking, conventional, outgoing, and conservative.
Although country music frequently centers on heartbreak, people who prefer it tend to be emotionally stable. They however have poor openness to experience.
- Classical music
Rumor has it that this genre is somewhat smarter than most. It could have come from a biased point of view from the lovers of this music, but I guess we will never know. Classical music lovers have good intuition and a healthy dose of vitamin self-esteem. These guys also consider listening to music as a theatrical experience. Hmm, interesting!

The fans of RnB music are proven to be quite emotional beings. They are not afraid to speak their mind about what they feel. And apparently, they are not fans of green energy either. I wonder why?
