Controversial Pastor Nga’ng’a known for his confidence in calling people out has criticized Bishop David Mwaure Waihiga, who attempted but failed to secure the presidency position.

Comparing him to his other opponent, Professor George Wajackoyah who came in third, Nga’ng’a paused his service to chuckle at David’s loss.

“Gai! Na ni Bishop. Bishop! ulienda kubaya huko ni inje. Bishop rudi kwa kanisa gai! Amekaa miaka ine, 40 years Bishop, na leo ametokezea, na huyu wa bhangi akatokezea. Hata hajanyoa, Bishop amenyoa na masuti, huyu amefunga tu kakofia na kitamba,” he hilariously remarked.

As he continued to consume the service time for ridicule, he delighted the Christians in attendance by now comparing David’s voting counts in different regions, stating that the man of God did not even get support from his congregation.

“Sasa huyu wa bhangi, nimeangalia nikaona ata Mandera ako na kura, ata kwetu Muranga, ako na kura. Pastor, Bishop! Hata washirika wake wale amehubiria forty years hawakumpigia. Wale washirika wote wa forty tuseme kama mimi sasa, saizi niko 30 ya mahubiri. Kwahivvo nikismama siku sitafikisha ata elfu moja, jamani,” he continued.

This year’s election has however been a rollercoaster of emotions for several candidates, with some being slammed by old buddies and exes who applauded their defeat.

Earlier this week, Saumu Mbuvi, daughter to former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko, took to her Instagram to call for celebrations after learning that her baby daddy, Loitiptip had lost the Lamu seat.

“Congratulations to the new Lamu Senator and Women Rep. Mko wapi tuanze kusherekea,” Saumu wrote on Instagram.

The Jubilee party’s Joseph Githuku defeated six other contenders to win the seat, defeating Loitiptip who was competing as an independent candidate.

Earlier, Loitiptip tried to retain his seat on the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket but fell short to Francis Mugo Kariuki in the party primary.
