Election 2022: The 5 types of Losers we have seen

losers

There are different types of winners and losers during an election period. In every competition, there has to be a winner and a loser regardless of the race. Well here are the types of losers we have seen since the results of the General Election started being announced;

  1. The Unbelievably Sore loser
    In nearly every race, this character is the most vocal of all losers. They expect nothing but total victory, might as well name them the King of losers. Emotions tend to get the better of them and this results in radical behaviour. They reject the system and point out the flaws that cost them their “much deserved” win.
  2. The Happy-go-lucky loser
    This loser enjoyed the experience. They didn’t expect to win, hence are not much affected by the race. As a matter of fact, they happily concede and are sure to win the hearts of many, if they at all, vie again. This is an ultimate strategist, that tests the water, before being fully involved in the next race. Such a loser knew best not to utilize all his financial resources and might as well have been a student of the master strategist, Sun Tzu, or rather employed the services of a professional Public Relations Officer. This loser defines themselves with their successes rather than failures.
  3. Tough Luck loser
    This loser almost won, as a matter of fact, they might have been in the first position, shortly before they were defeated. They tasted victory, briefly before it was ruthlessly taken away
  4. The Denial loser
    The loser in denial copes with the trauma often by living in a fantasy land where they won. They constantly admit to everyone who has a listening ear that they actually won. Whatever rocks their boat, I suppose.
  5. Whoopsie! The ‘I got lost’ loser
    This loser had a strong chance of winning in the beginning. Their downfall is attributed to a series of chess moves that got them off track. At the moment it might have seemed like the right decision, but looking back it might not have been as strategic as they thought.

At the end of the day, despite it being easier said than done, we can all win by being ‘good losers’.
