Controversial preacher Pastor Ezekiel has sent shockwaves through his congregation and the wider public after claiming that God revealed to him a chilling premonition about his own death.
Speaking during a church service, the pastor told congregants that he received a divine message indicating that he would die in the month of February, a revelation he said came to him in January and left him with no doubt about its timing.
“God told me I was going to die in the month of February. It was January then. February must be this year,” Pastor Ezekiel told his congregation.
The declaration, delivered with visible conviction, immediately drew gasps from worshippers.
Pastor Ezekiel went on to suggest that the prophecy was tied to a spiritual test, one that had never been encountered before.
According to the pastor, his wife advised him that an unprecedented trial was approaching and that it would require sacrifice.
“And Bishop told me, what has never been done. Another test is coming. You need to look for a sacrifice and give to God,” he said.
He then questioned the very nature of such a sacrifice, hinting at its impossibility in human terms.
“So when God told me, you are going to die this month, I just knew. To give God what? Nobody can give,” he added.
The remarks have since ignited intense debate online and within religious circles.
Pastor Ezekiel, a figure who has often courted controversy, did not provide further clarification on whether the prophecy was symbolic or literal.
As February unfolds, his statements continue to fuel discussion about the prophecy.
