Harambee Stars rising star Mohamed Bajaber capped off his long-awaited debut for Tanzanian giants Simba SC with a memorable goal on Thursday, December 4, 2025, marking a triumphant return after a four-month injury layoff.
Bajaber, who joined Simba in August 2025 while still nursing a long-term injury, had been sidelined since his arrival.
The midfielder finally got the green light to feature in the Tanzanian Premier League clash against Mbeya City, an opportunity he seized with trademark flair.
Bajaber’s Dream Debut Off the Bench
Introduced in the 84th minute, the former Kenya Police midfield maestro wasted no time announcing his presence.
Bajaber found the back of the net a minute after coming on, adding Simba’s third goal to seal their dominant 3–0 victory.
His strike complemented first-half efforts from Morice Abraham and Jonathan Sowah, ensuring Simba walked away with a convincing win.
Bajaber’s Injury Battle to Rising Stardom
Bajaber’s journey to this moment has been anything but smooth.
Despite struggling with injury during his Kenya Police tenure , he had already built a strong reputation—both in the Kenyan Premier League and on international duty.
He broke onto the scene during Kenya’s international qualifiers, scoring against Gambia and helping Kenya Police mount a strong league campaign to become champions.
With his debut goal now behind him, the Kenyan international is expected to play a key role in Simba SC’s midfield as he regains full match fitness.
