In a statement shared on social media, the artist — known to fans as Pozee — said the group struck his store on the night of October 9, leaving behind broken windows, damaged vehicles, and missing stock.
“They broke my car, smashed the shop windows, and took several bottles of expensive alcohol,” he said. “They even tried to take the CCTV hard drive but failed.”
Willy Paul believes the attackers tried to disguise themselves as students to divert suspicion. “Their real motive was theft,” he added.
Police have since been notified, and investigations are ongoing. The musician confirmed that no one was injured during the incident.
“Authorities are already looking into it, and we’re cooperating fully,” he said. “Our doors remain open, and we appreciate everyone who continues to support us.”

While the exact location of the shop remains undisclosed, images shared online show significant damage to the storefront. Despite the setback, the business is still operating.
Willy Paul, who has built a reputation as one of Kenya’s most consistent performers, is expected to headline the Mazingira Day Party at BND tonight.
The attack adds to a growing list of recent incidents involving celebrities in business, highlighting the challenges artists face when balancing fame with entrepreneurship.
