Raila Odinga has sparked controversy after a mention of intending to appoint Musalia Mudavadi to his government during an address to the citizens in Vihiga. While the Kenya Kwanza Boss DP Ruto had also hit out hinting at selecting Wiper party boss Kalonzo Musyoka in his government.
Raila revealed that he had nurtured Musalia Mudavadi’s political career since the time of former president Daniel Moi.
Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition party presidential candidate Raila Odinga has vowed not to forget the Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader if he secures victory on August 9.
Raila, during the campaigns in Mudavadia’s backyard, reminisced about how he wanted to support the ANC leader in the 2002 presidential race.
(This Musalia Mudavadi is my son, I’m the one who held his hand when in KANU when he refused even though I wanted to support him for the top seat, but he feared Moi)
Raila said that having mentored Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi politically, there would be no way he would abandon him to the opposition.
The presidential candidate was relentless in his determination to woo Western politicians into supporting him in the upcoming Election.
Whereas DP Ruto had earlier spoken about placing Kalonzo Musyoka in his government if the Kenya Kwanza Coalition emerges victorious.
(The government we are forming I will hold Kalonzo’s hand and help him because he’s suffered. I know he’s been lied to by the man of a riddle, so he is abusing me. Even if he continues abusing me, I will help him because this man has taken him through a lot)
