King Mohammed VI of Morocco has directed urgent delivery of 180 tons of humanitarian and medical supplies to Palestinians in Gaza who are facing dire need of aid support. The Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the aid initiative in a statement released Wednesday.

The 180 tonne shipment includes essential food items, powdered milk, pediatric supplies, medicines, and surgical equipment intended for vulnerable civilians. It also contains emergency shelter materials such as tents and blankets. According to the ministry, the aid will be transported through a dedicated route designed for fast and direct delivery to the affected population in Gaza.

“This humanitarian action reflects the firm commitment of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, to the Palestinian cause and to the well-being of the Palestinian people,” the ministry stated.

The Moroccan government described the move as an expression of “concrete solidarity,” affirming that the Kingdom remains deeply invested in providing relief to communities affected by the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
The aid effort comes amid severe humanitarian crisis faced by Palestinians in Gaza, where infrastructure damage and access to food and medicine remain critical issues.
The King’s order underscores Morocco’s ongoing engagement in humanitarian support across the region and highlights his role as Chair of the Al-Quds Committee, an organization affiliated with the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation that focuses on protecting the cultural and religious identity of Palestine state.
This latest aid delivery adds to Morocco’s previous contributions to Palestinian support efforts, particularly during moments of heightened humanitarian crisis. The government has not disclosed the exact delivery timeline, but officials indicated that the operation is being treated with urgency to ensure immediate impact on the ground.
