Reverend Kathy Kiuna issued a public statement in response to the news of her husband Bishop Allan Kiuna’s passing on Tuesday, July 6.
Bishop Kiuna, the founder and lead pastor of Jubilee Christian Church (JCC), died after a long battle with cancer.
“It is with heartfelt condolences that today we announce our beloved Bishop Allan Kiuna has gone to be with the Lord. Bishop Allan Kiuna, the general overseer and founder of Jubilee Christian Church was an extraordinary man who touched the lives of many and had a great passion for ministering locally and globally,” Kathy’s statement read.

Bishop Kiuna passed away after a prolonged struggle with Multiple Myeloma Cancer despite seeking treatment overseas in the US, without success.
The power couple had been wed for over 30 years, leading a life devoted to their faith and community.
“His unwavering faith, compassion, and dedication to the church and community have left an indelible mark on all who knew him. He was not only a spiritual leader but also a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.” Kathy warmly conveyed.
Kiuna leaves behind his wife and their three children: Vanessa, Jeremy, and Stephanie. Kathy requested the public to give her family privacy as the family mourned.
“As a church and as a family, we appreciate the outpouring of love and support, especially from our church family. We kindly request some privacy as we go through this challenging time of mourning and reflection.”
JCC will organise services to honour Bishop Allan Kiuna’s memory and legacy.
The program, shared by Kathy Kiuna in the statement, is as follows:
- Wednesday, July 10, to Friday, July 12: Evening services will be held at JCC Parklands from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
- Saturday, July 13: Another service will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
- Sunday, July 14: A special worship service will take place starting at 9:00 AM.
