In addition, Fisher—a restaurant owner and chef in Japan—claimed the record for the longest baking marathon by an individual, which Wendy Sandner of the United States had previously held with a time of 31 hours and sixteen minutes.
Making classic Irish fare like bacon and cabbage, Irish stew, and chowder, Fisher started his nonstop cooking marathon on Thursday, September 29 at 4 p.m. and completed it triumphantly on Monday, 120 hours later. As a result of his accomplishment, which caught the attention of the community, the restaurant had a steady influx of patrons who came to sample the cuisine, which was provided gratis in compliance with Guinness World Record regulations.

Even more amazing is the fact that Alan completed both records back-to-back, which means he worked in the kitchen for more than 160 hours without taking a day off in between.
