The 13th Kenya Red Cross Society Nairobi County Charity Golf Tournament brought together corporate partners, golfers and humanitarian supporters to raise funds for disaster preparedness, emergency response and community resilience initiatives.
The annual charity event sought to mobilise resources to strengthen the Kenya Red Cross Society’s ability to respond to emergencies, support volunteers on the front lines and deliver lifesaving assistance to vulnerable communities across the country.

Organisers said the tournament highlighted the importance of partnerships between humanitarian organisations, the private sector and the public in addressing growing humanitarian needs and building resilient communities.
The funds raised will contribute to enhancing disaster response capacity, volunteer training and community-based programmes aimed at improving preparedness for emergencies and reducing the impact of disasters.
Participants also underscored the role of corporate social responsibility in supporting humanitarian efforts, noting that collaborative action remains essential in creating lasting social impact.
The Kenya Red Cross Society expressed appreciation to sponsors, golfers and all partners who contributed to the success of the tournament, reaffirming its commitment to working with stakeholders to improve the lives of communities affected by disasters and other humanitarian crises.
