Kasarani Member of Parliament, Ronald Karuri, has offered the Pastor in the viral video a trip to Maasai Mara after the man of God locked himself in a cage with three mature lions.
The Pastor locked himself in the lion’s den with the aim of re-enacting the scene from the Bible. In this Bible scene, a man named Daniel was thrown into a lion’s Den which had lions that had not eaten for some days. Despite the hunger, the lions did not touch nor eat the man.
He called his congregation to watch as he locked himself in the den. According to him, he was sure that the lions would not harm him because he was full of the Holy Spirit and would be translated as a miracle by the congregants.
Karauri mentioned that he would be willing to gift the pastor a free trip to Maasai Mara for him to see the lions in the wild.
“I volunteer to take him to the Maasai Mara please, all expenses paid. We look for the lions and he can go walk with them,” Karauri mentioned.
The viral video of the pastor cosying up with three lions circulated on the internet. Despite the pastor continuously provoking the lions, they remained subdued in the den and did not retaliate.
Pastor shocks People after Lions don’t Retaliate
Part of the people present during the scene stood perplexed after the pastor allegedly placed his hand in one of the lion’s mouths. Some easily translated this to be a miracle rather than the lions being tame.

Despite the offer posed by the MP, the national park management would not easily agree to the dangerous stunt. This is because there have been cases of tourists getting close to the animals in a bid to take photos with them. The animals are however not tamed and could pose a great risk to the tourists.
In 1991, a similar case occurred in Nigeria. A renowned prophet from the region was seen entering a lion’s den with the intention of re-enacting a scene from the Bible. He too tried to be Daniel but ended up slaughtered and eaten by the lions.
