Advance in technology has not only had advantages but also has brought disadvantages in the daily activities of human beings. This especially in increasing activities such as terrorism.
Emerging technology like online platforms has been lately used by terrorist to recruit new trainees. One example of this platform is Facebook, which most terrorist form ‘weird’ groups that recruit new members to join them.
Some of these groups may not display themselves as terrorist. However, they use images or illusions and beliefs that may target, what majority of the people may do or practice in their daily activities.

For most of those who end up joining their thinking, beliefs and how they conduct their activities change abruptly as soon as they are members.
Another way technology is increasing terrorism, is use of drones. Drones have the ability to provide standoff, which can enable terrorists to conduct multiple attacks nearly simultaneously, rapidly magnifying their overall effect.
A terrorist attack is meant to create an atmosphere of fear to influence a target audience, a civilian population or government to force or impose political change.
The massive increase in the number of form factors, capabilities, ease of access and ease of operation of drones at low cost will make them
the weapon of choice for future terrorists.
The third way technology can be used to increase terrorism is through use of ChatGPT. This form of A.I can be used by terrorist to create explosives.
For, example a terrorist may ask the technology, ”What are the contents used in forming a bomb?”
Additionally, in the future use of robots might also be used to disseminate explosives.
