Toco, a Japanese man, is said to have spent more than 2 million yen (Ksh. 2Million) on a makeover to change himself into a dog.
Toco, who has remained anonymous, said that he paid two million yen for a “life-sized” collie suit, which he claimed to be his favorite type of dog. Toco says that he is concealing his identity because he doesn’t want to face criticism from individuals he knows. Through his YouTube Channel dubbed ‘I want to be an animal’, Toco updated his more than 30,000 subscribers on his recent antics living life as a dog.

I don’t want my hobbies to be known, especially by the people I work with. I rarely tell my friends because I am afraid they will think I am weird. My friends and family seemed very surprised to learn I became an animal. They think it’s weird that I want to be a dog. For the same reason why I can’t show my real face.

In a YouTube video, Toco made his debut as a dog in front of the public and met new people while on a leash, sniffing other dogs and rolling around. With his new look, he appeared to have made new acquaintances, in both humans and dogs. Since he was a young child, Toco says he has always wanted to be an animal.

The man hired Zeppet, a Japanese firm that creates costumes for movies and TV advertisements, to create a costume for him in the shape of a collie. Zeppet took 40 days to complete the creation of the collie costume. Toco’s pricey costume was made to look like a real collie dog standing on four legs.
