All You Need To Know About The Royal Jordanian Wedding

The wedding of Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan (28) , eldest son of and heir of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania and architect Rajwa Al Saif (29), youngest daughter of businessman Khalid Bin Musaed captivated the world with their royal wedding.

Prince Hussein who is also a captain in the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab army wed Rajwa Al Saif who is no stranger to royalty with her mother being part of the Al Sudairi family, Saudi Arabia’s ruling family in an Islamic marriage ceremony that took place at Zahran Palace in Amman at 4pm on June 1 after announcing their engagement on August.
Jordan King Abdullah held dinner for 4000 men ahead of his son’s wedding while Queen Rania celebrated her daughter-in-law’s henna (similar to a bridal shower) night.

For the wedding ceremony,the motorcade precession followed with eight bright red armed Land rovers and eleven motorcycles, this being a special occasion, horses and camels were also part.

For those coming into the country passports had a special stamp celebrating their wedding. The wedding had 150 guests and was full of highly recognized guests like First lady of the US, Jill Biden, Kate, Princess of Wales and Prince William, King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sofia of Spain and Crown Prince Frederick and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark.
