Sanaipei Tande, an actress and singer, has explained her decision to leave the TV show “Kina,” putting a stop to the rumours swirling about her departure.
“Many of you are aware that I am no longer playing the role of Nana Tandala in the ongoing series KINA. There has been a lot of speculation as to why this is, with an array of reasons being thrown around.
“For clarification and accuracy, I chose to leave due to exhaustion and consequently much-needed rest,” Sanaipei said.

Sanaipei continued by explaining that given the nature of the show, a substitute had to be found so that spectators could keep watching. She thanked her followers for their encouragement and consoling messages.
“I thank each and every one of you who has shown great love, support and concern through numerous messages, comments and compliments. I assure you I have read ALL of them,” Sanaipei stated.
Sanaipei stated her affection for the role of Nana Mandi Tandala and all that it included, despite her departure.
“I thoroughly enjoyed my time as ‘The Great Nana Mandi Tandala’ and all facets of this phenomenal character. I will surely miss it,” Sanaipei said.

She also expressed gratitude to the production firms and the “Kina” cast and crew, whom she referred to as her family.
Tande ended her remarks by wishing Mbeki Mwalimu, who would take over as Nana Mandi Tandala, the best of luck.
“I wish my successor @mbekimwalimu all the best as she tackles the ups and downs of the wife, mother, boss, brute and of of course Auntiiieeee that is NANA MANDI TANDALA, Tande said. I look forward to being back on your screens soon,” Sanaipei concluded.
Sanaipei’s resignation was announced by the Maisha Magic Plus crew, who also expressed their gratitude for her work on the program.
