Kenyans are lying, they won’t vote for Wajackoyah – Andrew Kibe

By Shukri Osman,

Andrew Kibe has targeted Kenyan voters who support The Roots Party presidential candidate George Wajackoyah.

The former radio personality questioned their loyalty and said the recent outpouring of enthusiasm for the candidate was more of a passing fad, that will not translate into votes.

He said that when former presidential candidate Peter Kenneth stood for president, the electorate was swept up in a similar wave.

“Mtamdanganya mnataka kumpatia kura (you will lie to him about voting for him… Na nyinyi ni uongo mko nayo (You are all lying), a bunch of liars,” he stated.

In a video on his YouTube channel, Kibe said voters were loyal to their tribal chief and will vote based on tribal allegiance rather than policy implementation.

Ezekiel Mutua, the head of the Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK), predicted that the Roots Party presidential candidate George Wajackoyah will receive more than a million votes, prompting a rerun of the election on Monday, June 13, 2022.

“Wajackoyah will induce a re-run, despite the fact that it may sound ridiculous,” he said.

“Last night, I sat down with a bunch of young people and was taken aback by the passionate discussion about why they like the guy. If the conversations are to be believed, Wajackoyah will receive over 1 million votes, which will be a game-changer!”

In a related story, Chama cha Kazi (CCK) party head Moses Kuria stated his concerns over Roots Party presidential candidate George Wajackoyah’s gaining popularity.

The Gatundu South MP is a strong ally of Deputy President William Ruto, who is running for president on the United Democratic Alliance’s (UDA) ticket.

“George Wajackoyah might send Kenya to its first presidential run-off. This needs to be declared a national crisis and emergency,” Kuria wrote on his Facebook page.
