There are so many ‘rules’ of society that have shaped how we live and relate with ourselves and others, that are not conducive to our growth.
Laws of nature. These are the general workings of a society that have been set in stone for a long time ago. A good example is that nature allows us to seek peace. - You must be in a relationship to be happy
The fact that many have enabled this belief is what has made so many people get into ugly relationships. They have been told ‘no relationship, no happiness’. Sorry to burst your bubble; Relationships do not define happiness whatsoever. If anything, if you are unhappy as an individual, that’s to say you will be with someone else? So stop living in Disneyland and work towards your happiness Jenny!

Oh, this is bound to cause some chaos, but by hoot is it true. Life is not ‘mother knows best’ from Rapunzel. Sometimes, parents mess up too. There is nothing to be ashamed of. - Money is not important as long as you love each other
Whoever came up with this narrative lied. Money is a very integral factor when it comes to any relationship; marriage, dating, friendship, you name it. It is important to discuss finances in any affair (if necessary) to avoid bloodshed later on.
You may be scared that society will look at you differently if you put money into the picture, but a piece of advice, do not pay much attention to what society says. We can agree, we have lived enough to acknowledge that society is not always right.
- Everyone is entitled to an opinion
Not Everyone is entitled to an informed opinion. All these thoughts we are airing in public just because they represent what we feel, are what’s contributing to us losing focus as a society. It is so much better to keep quiet about something if you are not knowledgeable about it. Ignorance has no defense so do not try so hard at being its face.
