Marya Prude has expressed the challenges of early marriage on her Instagram, describing it as a setback in life and labelling it a regret being married at 23.
Marya Prude has opened up on her Instagram about her ealy marriage at a younger age, claiming that early marriages can hold you back from success in the future.
Marya emphasized that marriage is not a trophy, and a person should not feel less of a person if they are not married at a certain age.
Marya Prude mentions that due to the pressure in society one feels the need to marry early. Unfortunately, Marya Prude succumbed to the pressure and got married to fulfill the societies expectations.

“I woke up this morning with so much to do in my mind and I just remembered I got married at 23, yes yes, 23. I don’t know what I was thinking, I would be so far right now if I wasn’t busy serving society and what other humans expectat of me as a married woman because I would be doing most of what I’m doing right now to catch up, Alafu pia, marriage isn’t an achievement okay? Bye,” She posted.
Marya Prude was married to Willis Raburu but their marriage ended in the year 2020. The reason for their divorce was unclear, however Willis revealed that it was part of his fault that his relationship ended for he used to uncover his private life to strangers.
He revealed this during an interview with Willy M Tuva a radio presenter.
“I have chosen to be private. What I have picked from all the drama that surrounded my life is to be private. I also promised myself that the only time I will ever speak on what happened to my marriage in detail is when Marya herself is present so that she can have a right of reply,” he said.
However, currently, they are both moving on with their respective lives.
