Zambia President, Hakainde Hichilema, Tweeted his excitement when he noticed his people behind the soundtrack of the Black Panther sequel.
President Hichilema congratulated Sampa the Great, Tio Nason and Mwanje, who are Zambian in origin and feature in the official soundtrack of Black Panther 2, set to be released on November 11.
One of the songs featured in the trailer is Never Forget by Sampa the Great featuring Chef 187. The movie is a tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman, a well-renowned British actor who played the role of Black Panther/Tchala in the first movie. Unfortunately, Chadwick Boseman succumbed to cancer and passed away before they made the sequel.

The first Black Panther movie was a success, it was an inspiration to many individuals. The movie demonstrated women of power through the Dora Milaje — the female warriors in the movie protecting the fictional country Wakanda. Apart from impacting society, it showed African culture, heritage and talent through the actors and actresses in the movie.

The positive impact and greatness of the movie Black Panther made the president of Zambia proud to know that his fellow countrymen were part of its making. After he posted this on Twitter, Sampa the Great responded by thanking him and said she hoped that together they would make the music industry in Zambia thrive.
