They are expected to hold discussions with Kenyan leaders President-elect William Ruto, Azimio leader Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta, to ponder on shared goals between the Joe Biden administration and Kenya.
“The delegation is also scheduled to meet with President Kenyatta, William Ruto, and Raila Odinga to discuss goals on health, security, and economic prosperity,” Whitman said via tweeter on Wednesday.

Despite the US having not congratulated President-elect Ruto yet on his win on the ballot, the superpower has maintained that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) conducted the electoral process in a free, fair, and transparent manner.
“We applaud the efforts of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, security forces, and all electoral institutions to organize a peaceful and orderly voting and counting process,” the US Embassy said in a statement on Monday.
“This is an important milestone in the electoral process. Going forward, we urge all parties to work together to peacefully resolve any remaining concerns about this election through existing dispute resolution mechanisms.”
