Bryan Zaragoza, the young Spanish winger signed by Bayern Munich with high hopes, is on his way back to La Liga.
The 22-year-old will join Celta Vigo on loan, with an agreement that includes a mandatory purchase clause—provided certain performance targets are met. The final price? €13 million.

According to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany, the obligation to buy will kick in if Zaragoza makes a set number of appearances and Celta finish between 11th and 13th in the La Liga table.
While Bayern Munich has not officially commented, club sources suggest the structure is designed to recoup most of the money spent on Zaragoza, who has struggled to break into the German champions’ first team.
Zaragoza signed for Bayern earlier this year amid excitement over his explosive pace and dribbling. But opportunities have been limited. With the club pushing to sign Liverpool’s Luis Díaz and other targets, there was simply no room left for the former Granada star.
“This is a good move for all sides,” a source close to the player told The Times. “Bryan needs to play regularly, and Celta can give him that. Bayern get a chance to recover their investment.”
For Celta Vigo, the deal presents a low-risk, potentially high-reward scenario. If Zaragoza performs, they get a young, talented winger for a fair price. If not, they can avoid a long-term commitment.
The player is expected to sign his loan contract today in Vigo.
The move also signals a shift in Bayern’s strategy. Having stacked their forward line, the club is now focused on trimming the squad and making space for key arrivals. Zaragoza’s departure may be the first of several outgoing moves in the coming weeks.
As Bayern gears up for a busy end to the transfer window, Zaragoza, once seen as a future star in Munich, will now try to reignite his career closer to home.
