As Sean “Diddy” Combs left a Manhattan federal courthouse on Wednesday, it wasn’t just the weight of a long legal battle trailing behind him it was his family, holding tight to one another.

For the first time in weeks, all three of Diddy’s daughters — 18-year-old twins D’Lila and Jessie, along with Chance appeared by his side. Dressed in matching white suits, the twins clutched hands and walked solemnly past reporters, one of them quietly wiping away tears.

Their presence came just as prosecutors delivered their final remarks in the highly publicised trial, urging jurors to convict Combs on serious federal charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering. The courtroom was packed. The mood was tense.

“Mr Combs ran his empire like a kingdom,” one federal prosecutor told the jury, “but power doesn’t mean impunity.”

Also present outside court were Diddy’s sons Justin, King, and Quincy and his mother, Janice Combs, forming a visibly united front. They exited in silence, slipping into waiting SUVs under heavy press attention.

Though Diddy’s children have kept a low profile throughout most of the trial, their appearance now speaks volumes. The twins, who graduated from high school just weeks ago, had only attended a handful of sessions earlier in the case. They reportedly avoided hearings involving the most graphic testimonies including disturbing accounts by R&B singer Cassie Ventura and other women.

Inside the courtroom, those testimonies painted a grim picture of abuse, control, and coercion. Prosecutors have worked to portray Combs not just as a music mogul, but as the central figure in a pattern of alleged exploitation.

The defence, however, insists the case is built on weak foundations. Diddy’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, is expected to deliver closing arguments on Thursday. Sources close to the legal team say he will argue that the accusations are inconsistent and motivated by money and revenge.

Outside the courthouse, the mood among Diddy’s supporters remained calm but emotional. As one spectator put it, “Whatever the jury decides, this is a family going through something unimaginable.”

The jury is expected to begin deliberations by the end of the week.
