Three months after a very public breakup, Kenyan comedian Mulamwah and content creator Ruth K have plunged into another round of bitter online drama—this time, over their son, family respect, and a curious demand involving teeth.
The row began when Ruth K, visibly emotional, called out her ex-partner for reposting photos of their child without asking her. The images had been part of a quiet moment for her: she had just shared her son’s new name—Calvin Carey, formerly Oyando Jnr.
“It’s been barely three months since the breakup, and I’ve faced disrespect in ways you wouldn’t even imagine,” Ruth wrote on social media. “I’m trying to heal, to gather myself emotionally, but it’s draining.”
She didn’t stop there. In her post, she accused Mulamwah of playing emotional games, including sending her KSh 5,000 only to reverse it—then going ahead to share a carefully prepared photo of their child online.
“You send 5,000 and reverse it, then have the nerve to screenshot a photo I put so much effort into?” she wrote. “Enough is enough. I take my respect back. One day, I will tell my story.”
“You Broke Your Own Home”

But Mulamwah, never one to shy away from controversy, came out swinging. In a no-holds-barred Instagram post, he blamed Ruth for the breakdown of their relationship.
“Was a nice ride – Young lady, don’t cry wolf,” he wrote. “You broke your own home with your two hands.”
He accused her of ignoring his warnings about “jealous friends” and letting envy destroy their family setup.
“You never listened,” he said. “They advised you until you moved from our home to Ruaka… because of jealousy of your own home and blessings.”
Mulamwah also suggested he had played a major role in boosting Ruth’s online brand, even helping her secure endorsement deals—claims she has not directly addressed.
“I gave you some deals and helped you grow online. Once money came in, pride followed,” he claimed. “You started disrespecting even my parents. You were living in my house but buying things for your own.”
“Devvy Is Positive”
Things took a darker turn when Mulamwah alleged that Ruth created a WhatsApp group with 84 women—including his clients—and accused him of having a sexually transmitted infection.
“How do you add 84 ladies to a group and tell them ‘Devvy is positive’? You even added my clients. They pulled out from sponsoring my comedy show,” he said.
The message shocked many fans, some of whom demanded proof, while others condemned the move—if true—as reckless and harmful.
“Return My Teeth”
In a moment that drew more laughter than sympathy, Mulamwah ended his tirade with an unusual demand: that Ruth return his teeth. The phrase-“urudishe meno yangu”—quickly went viral, with Kenyans online turning it into memes and trending hashtags.
But even amid the theatrics, he took time to express regret toward his first baby mama, Carrol Sonnie.
“I had a beautiful marriage until you came. Pole sana Carrol. Though it’s water under the bridge now,” he wrote.
His tone, however, quickly turned confrontational again: “For me, I stand for facts and I fear no one. Zero f*cks given.”
Public Divided, Internet Unmoved
As the drama plays out on Instagram and TikTok, fans remain split. Some say Ruth is right to call out what they view as toxic behaviour. Others back Mulamwah, arguing that he’s finally “telling his side.”
So far, neither has offered further proof for their more serious claims, and no legal action has been reported.
Still, the saga shows no sign of cooling. Ruth hinted at one day sharing her full version of events. For now, Kenyans remain glued to their screens-waiting to see what will unfold next in this very public falling-out.
Whether it’s about broken trust, bruised egos, or borrowed teeth, one thing is certain: this is no ordinary breakup.
