Friendships can become a close family circle when you find those friends who stand with you through thick and thin. Friends are a support system most of us need and would like to possess.
For me friendship is sisterhood, a place where I should be comfortable releasing my most troubling thoughts and also a place to have impeccable laughter.
Men’s friendships have different dynamics compared to those of women. Men are known to be more relaxed and not require as much from friends unlike their counterparts.
Lacking the need for emotional intimacy in men creates surfaced relationships.in this I mean most men are not able to freely communicate on their thoughts and feelings.
This is said to be so because most men are not comfortable in releasing or showing emotions. Female friendships are built on emotional but as contrary to male friendships they can be dramatic.
My campus journey is what led me to meet two delightful souls. I remember how scary day one of campus can be, not knowing anyone and not knowing where you are going.
Friendships make Life more worth living and that’s how I felt having them. What most forget is these are relationships like any other and we should work on extending grace to friendships.
During a point of disagreement or anger most of us are quick to cut ties with friends who we have known for years, but when it comes to relationships we give out over fifty tries.
I remember my two friends fighting over not appearing to a birthday then proceeding to not speaking to each other for almost 5 months. At that moment I felt like they were making me pick sides.

In moments of anger taking a step back for you to cool down and rethink is recommended. At heated moments we say hurtful things just to inflict pain on our friends not knowing the repercussions that follows.
During such conflicts get a third party involved. The involved person should be neutral, it would be better if the person is both your friends. Having a third perspective on the Matter enables friend to make decisions while conscious away from anger.
Friendships ships are truly a God given gift and having one that is pure of love makes you have the best feeling of them all.
